  3. What has two thumbs and isn’t dead despite not having updated this blog in like six months? THIS GAL. Yeah. Hit kind of a rough patch there, but I’m back now. Updated the tags page and reorganized it. If you click on someone’s name or a sign and nothing comes up don’t be alarmed, it just means I haven’t made anything for that character or sign yet. Also I apologize for the abysmal quality of this image; I couldn’t find one that wasn’t hideous resolution, this was the best I could do. /)_(\ SO HOW HAVE YOU GUYS BEEN??

Sheesh, I must have borked the HTML for his tag on the tags page or something, sorry about that. But we agree on the Pisces part! Ahhh, I can’t believe I missed this all along—I need to do his rising sign. … I need to get back on track with this blog, I’m really sorry for the long delay you guys orz

I’m really sorry it’s been so slow to update lately; work has been extra super lame these past couple weeks and my days off have been occupied with wrangling myself a new car and going to a wedding. @_@ Good times, but. No time to actually do anything else. I’d love to discuss the signs you disagree with sometime, if you’re amenable—I really enjoy trading interpretations!

    Greetings, anon! Glad you like the FAQ! I hope it is useful to everyone. :)

    As for images for personal use, I might consider doing something like that as a giveaway, perhaps, but I’m afraid if I do it for one person I would wind up having to do it for every single person who’s asked so far, and anyone who asks in the future. I can’t just do some and not others, that isn’t fair, but there’s no way I’d have time to do one for everybody. Besides, honestly it does kind of go against my grain a bit to do astrology cards outside the signs I have assigned to the characters for the purposes of this blog. A lot of work goes into those analyses, after all! ;p If it’s something people are interested in, though, I’d consider doing it as an occasional giveaway or something. What do you guys think?

    Ack, sorry! I never got a notification you had responded again! The Virgo font is KG Love You Through It; the link will take you to Dafont.com where you can download it, if you like.

    As for my sources, here are the ones I reference most:

    • Astrology Online has good in-depth analyses of each sign, as well as a quick-reference list of good and bad traits associated with them.

    • Cafe Astrology not only has analyses of each sun sign, but also gives details about the signs in other planetary bodies as well.


    I also like to poke around some of the other zodiac tumblrs; my favorites are Zodiac Society and Zodiaccc (which is apparently moving to a new name).


    The books I use are:
    • The Only Astrology Book You’ll Ever Need, which I highly recommend if you’re interested in astrology. It’s brilliant and very comprehensive, giving information about the signs in every planetary body as well as compatibilities, health concerns, romantic tendencies, and there’s references in the back for you to determine your entire natal chart!

    • Darkside Zodiac, which I bought on a whim, is actually one of the most entertaining and unique takes on astrology I’ve seen. While it’s very easy to find information on why being your sign makes you awesome, this book tells you all about why being your sign makes you a huge pain in the ass. It’s witty and spot-on. Not recommended for those with delicate sensibilities, however.

    • Rounding off the books I love my Portable Book of Birthdays and have actually picked individual days for characters based on signs and then using this book to pinpoint a specific date. Like with any astrology forecast your mileage may vary, but I’ve found it’s uncannily accurate for most people I know.

    The Leo love is right here! I haven’t had any recently because I was working on Final Fantasy characters, and Cloud was the only canon Leo I’d found, but as a Leo myself, I have plenty of love for the sign. XD And yes, I do plan on doing planetary signs eventually. I want to wrap up Rising and Moon signs before I tackle any new ones, though.
